We know to leave dental hygiene to the dentists. Back School is about spinal hygiene!
Back School can be presented on location to key company officials and/or employees, or to smaller groups of up to 10 in more extensive fashion. Oftentimes customized programs can be set-up that best fit a specific work environment.
Back School’s key objectives focus on:
- improving quality of life
- helping one to return to more enjoyable activities of daily living
- providing the necessary tools to reduce or eliminate persistent, recurring neck and back pain.
The more extensive program includes a before and after 15-minute evaluation which scores how well one performs proper body mechanics and posture relating to 20 everyday activities of daily living, which include bending, lifting, sitting and carrying. This establishes a baseline score before Back School classes begin, and then measures improvement at its conclusion.
